I know I mentioned it, but not sure if I did here. Worked with a guy since the early 70's and his son since around 1990. The dad suffered from cancer for the past several years, and just couldn't beat it. The son and his mom had to argue with authorities to NOT list Covid as the cause of death.
I know of a guy locally who killed himself in a car wreck trying to speed around a line of stopped cars, listed as a covid death.

Got my second Pfizer shot yesterday. Neither one did any more than make the injection site a little sore for a day or two.
At over 70, with type A blood, better safe than sorry.

My second Moderna shot was Tuesday. Wed afternoon got some chills, headache, spiked a little fever for a couple hours, and Wed night had terrible stomach pain, I think because I took an NSAID on an empty stomach (forgot to eat) earlier that day. Nothing so bad I couldn’t do chores outside. All better today, Thursday. One friend felt kind of flu-ish for a several days. Most other friends had no reaction. I would say it was disagreeable but not that bad. Worth it.

This article is interesting.

Wife has come across it on several occasions as well.

Well, as I have already noted, my wife's doctor told her she couldn't get the shot.

Yesterday, I went to see about myself getting the shot and was turned away because

"ever had a severe allergic reaction (e.g. anaphylaxis) to ANY injectable medication"

which the answer is yes and they had to treat me to reverse the reaction. So, at this point I'm not able to sign up for the vaccine.

I believe next week they are giving out the AstraZeneca vaccine here to folks 60 to 64 and we fit into that group. Wouldn't be my first choice but better than nothing.

J&J was just approved - does that have the same concern? It's so recent maybe your doctor doesn't have that info yet so might be worth a followup.

That was from our county public health department that is putting out the shots in our area. I have an email into them and waiting to see what they say.

We were called in a week earlier than planned and both got the Pfizer shot, 1 of 2. No issues with either one of us.

Yup, some county "administrators" were/are much more proactive than others. We also had to go to a different county to get ours.

Wifey and I got our second doses of Moderna around lunchtime yesterday. Both of us have tenderness around the injecttion sites and she had an upset stomach last night. Other than that we aren't having much in the way of side effects.

On another note - I won't be producing any documents to cross state lines, ESPECIALLY if we don't need ID to vote!

Wife and I booked our appointments yesterday for Sunday afternoon but have to wait 105 days for the second vaccine so we'll see.
