Baldwin Filters might have something for you if you want made in the USA. They have a filter plant in Nebraska and were bought by Parker Hannifin in 2017. I don't know if they make air filters. I do know they make oil filters though.

Baldwin makes air filters. They have a handy dandy little search feature on there site as well.

Punch in the wix filter number and they will give you the baldwin number.

I have been using Baldwin (oil) for the last 10 years on my B7100's = seem to work well.

Baldwin and wix are pretty much the same thing.

At work we use Baldwin but that's do to strategic pricing from our vendor. If they are out and i need it in a pinch, I'll call the local auto parts store and get wix filters from them instead.

Thanks guys, I think the thing that upset me more than anything is the label on the box with an American flag stating it is an American Company, only to find the stuff inside from china

I don't know exactly how that works. Maybe the majority of their operations are based in the US and they pay US taxes but some stuff is outsourced due to volume or some other thing. It may also be a way for them to say that they are owned by someone in the US and not by a corporation that is based in or owned by a foreign nation. Today if you want to support a US company it is getting harder and harder to do so with so many of them being owned by another company that is owned by yet another.

I don't quite know how country of origin stickers work all I do know is for it to have a made in USA sticker it needs a hefty majority of its components to be made in the USA or something like that.

Well Skeets, past political authorities made it so less taxes (and greater profits) could be accomplished by production of items in other countries. So we get foreign made goods and less jobs here!

The Baldwin site is nice but I still use Kubota branded filters on my Kubota's.

I would not be at all surprised if the Baldwin cabin air filter is made across the pond as well.

With all the cry's for increasing corporate taxes, the corporations had to move to other countries to keep costs down, so they did not have to raise their prices. Those people screaming for corporations to "pay their fair share" are too stupid to see that corporate taxes are a pass through to the consumer in the form of higher prices. Corporations do not have any money unless the consumer buys something. Therefore, they can't pay higher taxes unless they raise prices or move to a cheaper location.

Made is China isn't all that bad so long as the QC is there. If it isn't, chances are it's junk. Case in point, Drones. DJI's are all made in China as are Autel Evo's. Both are high quality drones. In fact, there is only one non Chinese made drone, made by a French firm. The we have the computer or cell phone you post on.... Made in China. You could not afford a domestic made computer or cell phone as the cost of labor and parts are too high and chances are the parts will be Chinese anyway.

I just buy Harbor Freight cordless stuff. One, I know where it's made, no surprises Two, it's fairly cheap so if it pukes, I landfill it and get another but...lately nothing has puked for me.

The Bauer stuff for me runs and runs and I beat on it too.

Remember 15 years ago, I could find the smoke in any HF tool in about a day. Not any more.

Stuff has gotten way better and more expensive too.

I recently purchased an overhaul kit for one of the new GM 6 spd transmissions from a local gm dealer. It was one large bag with "Genuine GM " on it and inside was 6 bags with all the small parts. Each bag had a different country, Ireland, India , Taiwan etc, etc.
