I rewired tractor per schematic and when I turn the key the 10 amp fuse blows instantly. Previous owner had no fuses in the fuse block and tractor cranked and ran. I can't find a short, so any ideas out there on why that one 10 amp fuse is blowing?

Please refer to the attached L235 wiring diagram and tell us which 10 amp fuse is blowing as there are three.

More information is required. What circuit is fed by the ten amp fuse? Does the tractor only have one fuse?

My L225 has 3 fuses. One is 10 amp and the other 2 are 5 amp. Schematic is not labelled well, but appears the 10 amp fuse is feeding the Glow Plug Controller, Hourmeter, )plus flashers and work lights, which I do not have). Feed is from the Main Switch it looks like.

looking at the schematic dave_eng supplied, the 10A fuse next to the 20 is connected to the regulator. I'd disconnect the reg. ,replace fuse, see what happens....
the other 2 , 10A fuses appear to power the headlights ?
