A lot of dying going to happen

At least two of us know about it. For those who do ot, the USS Liberty was an intelligence ship monitoring the 67 war (or 71, doesn't matter). It was under Israeli attack for 3 days, air and torpedo boats. Many sailors killed. Large battle flag show as well as comms. Was covered up for...

    New Pallet Forks

Look at the total weights of the PF assembly. That detracts from your lift capacity. I even remove the forks and rig rocks directly to the PF frame in order to increase my lift. I got the EA PFs for the same price you can get the LP forks, delivered within driving distance. They were the...

Bottom of my bucket has no paint

I teased my dealer about this and he thought I was serious. He then told me about people who required the whole bucket to be repainted after it got scratched. Apparently there are a number of buyers around me who park their Kubota next to their Tesla. I am not kidding. Given I know people who...

Looking For Advice On Addons For My New Tractor.

I had a BX in Maryland and moved up to a 2601 in New Hampshire (wife's idea, and a very smart one, two 40 inch snows in the first year). I would be very patient about buying attachments for the BX. You should first see how it handles and what you actually want to do. As already said: ROPS...

42 lb suitcase weights on B2601

The JD suitcase weights I have slip over the upright support bracket. No boltins. But, I wonder if the OP looked at Messick's video on front axle specs and weight distribution. With the loader the front axle is already at capacity. This is why I keep my loaded carryall on.

    Bucket camera fail

Thanks, but not sure how that would help. The issue is screen glare in the open cockpit of the 2601. I think the wireless is a good choice for those with cabs. At any rate, this concept does not work in my application and I will just stand when I need to see over the implement.

    Bucket camera fail

Other than the connector, the problem was not the camera. It was viewing the image on my cell phone (pixel 7) in full sunlight on my open cockpit B2601. Wifi to phone was excellent although had to reconnect wifi every time tractor was turned off. Picture was excellent but unviewable in full...

    Bucket camera fail

I was interested in the use of the bucket cam as proposed by another member; so I poached it. Got a $40 wifi dash camera from Amazon. Wired it to the fusebox (15A cigarette lighter) and grounded it to the block. Have to take apart, solder wires to the board of the lighter adapter since the...

    Torque Wrenches

You can look at my website; has not been updated for 4 years though. But, I only work during the snow months of New England.

    Torque Wrenches

Very nice. Keep hold of it and avoid wearing it when laying under the tractor!

    Torque Wrenches

I agree with your first post on this part of the topic. Does anyone REALLY think that manufacturers fail to understand static vs moving friction? Torque wrench tolerances? Dry vs lubricated (never seize)? That they are responsible for work done to spec by authorized mechanics at the...

    Arthritis and maintenance

When I hit 60 my friends told me that the changes start coming very quickly. Fortunately, I had a number of friends older than me to show me how to prepare for aging. Still, it is a nuisance. For the younger people, think about your body. Use hearing protection or you will eventually not be...

    Arthritis and maintenance

I may have to. After the 4th I am going to complain to my Doc. At OT they measured my rt hand grip at 60% of normal for age. I used to make people wince. I don't mind dyin, but I really want to be like our Milwaukee batteries, work until they don't.
