Well, My new B2401 came with the wrong 3pt hardware installed. I had an awful time trying to get the attachments to work. My finish mower also had been assembled wrong. So, you may need to do some checking.

Since the OP mentioned the rear Blade for gravel leveling in the spring. I would like comments on that. Seems the rear blade is good for snow. how about driveway maintenance?

But there is a 2 position PTO gear shift lever that selects the PTO RPM. position a 1st sets rear at 540 rpm. 2nd position set rear at 1000 rpms and mid at 2500 rpms. and the mower should not be operated faster than 540 pto gear selector in position 1? Correct?

I would think that I will need the lower the wheels because I need the mower deck higher. I can not lower the 3 pt all the way down with out scalping the cut height is controlled by the mower wheels not the 3pt height. Correct? I am used to a belly mower. The mower is a land pride FDR 1660...

This will be a gear drive tractor I did not think that they shared the same hydraulic fluid as The Hydro drive? But being a new owner I am not sure.

I think I am going to cancel my tractor, after reading of the latest problems. tractor was delivered, but I am waiting on the FEL. The tractor was damaged in shipment and I have been unable to get the dearer to commit to fixing it or providing a price adjustment.
