Not sure if you have from oem, but the M7060 came with an electrical connection for implement lights, but it was not a typical 7pin, so i swapped it to an automotive style 7 pin to tow my dump trailer. I did not use a 12v power supply. There is no brake lights as there is no brake light switch...

Id make up an adapter as shown above if you have a need for the existing plug. I did not, so i simply changed the tractor side to the 7 pin like my trailers have. (M7060 tractor) Use a multi meter to verify things.... you probably wont have any brake lights as the tractor probably does not...

There may be a 'service bulliten' out for faulty injectors..... theres a few threads on the TBN fourms about it on this model. There was a serial number range affected, people having similar issues. Have you had recent, normal DPF regens? I think theres a way to force one if youve inturrepted...

I found a rubbermaid container big enough. It fit under the machine too. Then use a pump to put it into buckets till the rubbermaid is light enough to pick up and tip, and spill etc!

Ive had my 7060 a few years now, and find that dipstick is hard to read, and the slightest bit of unlevel ground causes bad readings. I dye the oil. Ive also noticed theres a 'happy level' spot, which is almost at the low line. If its full, itll blow out the vent while on the road at full speed.

Is it possible its not actually in those specific gears you think its in? I find the rubber boot that covers the shift lever/input shaft gets real stuff in the cold, and its easy to think youre in 7th, but could still be in 5th? (Assuming 7040 is similar to 7060)
