    ZD1211 Fuel Tank issue

This has been an ongoing issue. The right tank is almost always full. I've made it a habit to just siphon fuel out to finish a mow. I finally undid the right tanks fuel filter to confirm there was flow. There is. Outlet side of the filter also shows flow. Today with low fuel in both tanks...

    ZD1211 fixed axle pins

Oh yeah, that's definitely a grease port that's hidden. I looked and didn't see it. The manual and a parts catalog insisted there was one. I finally looked again and it was covered with dirt and is embedded.

    ZD1211 fixed axle pins

UPDATE I found some time to go back and figure out what the problem is. For those of you who can't sleep worrying about this, the issue is the axle is misaligned...but not because of an unlevel ground. The axle is completely stuck and not "rolling". Basically its somehow jammed, which jammed...

    ZD1211 fixed axle pins

Ah yeah I struggled with one of those too. One came out just fine, the other required some good good precision hammering. I didn't use it for that case, but an iron punch can be useful....and a blowtorch

    ZD1211 fixed axle pins

Yeah I need to get a tub of anti seize already. I have the small tube only. You would think I'd own some being in the south with the extreme humidity, extreme heat, which all wreaks havoc on equipment. This definitely isn't my first rodeo with seized metal and a bunch of curse words. I did mow...

    ZD1211 fixed axle pins

So for the first time I decided to try the clever front axle "jack system" the zd1211 has. As it is, the pins are set for fixed axle. HOLY crap it took me two hours to get them out. Intense hammering, a crow bar, lots of pb penetrating spray, and eventually.....eventually I got them both out...

    ZD-1211 Stalled on incline

So I had to check and a 24F that I have is only 12 more pounds, 200 more CCA, and basically HALF the price (at least at Costco). You can *almost* fit a 24 in there.

    ZD-1211 Stalled on incline

I went ahead and got the Walmart 51r for $150. Cheapest I could find! Good news is it starts right up. Every time.. Oh the joy. As far as the reason I started this thread... Well, so normally when you're going to take off....you take park off, then come out of neutral, right? Well, because I...

    ZD-1211 Stalled on incline

Yeah the 51R is an odd one. It also has the welded frame so a regular battery won't fit. I could angle grind the frame but meh It's almost like companies are trying nudge you to buy their specific products😌

    ZD-1211 Stalled on incline

Costco seems to be the same and I can't find a price for a Kubota (which it has now)....only seems to be at dealers and their websites aren't very helpful

    ZD-1211 Stalled on incline

Thanks for the input guys. I agree I definitely need to replace the battery before I even spend more brain power on it. So odd to me that it only happened on an incline. Maybe more electrical power is needed somewhere than when it's level? I don't know. And wow the batteries aren't exactly...

    I have the switch bypassed.

    ZD-1211 Stalled on incline

So I have a battery that absolutely needs to be replaced. Even jumping the mower through the battery is a challenge. it's just plain bad and time for a new one. Regardless, I have been able to get the mower started for now. I mention this as I'm not FULLY confident that a borderline dead...

    Kubota ZD1211 - won't start

Yeah I spent way too much time trying to figure out where the OPC was and then had to figure out myself through the comment here and the parts listing I found. (You can't see the wire colors to identify it unless you remove it) Anyway, I cleaned and put it all back together and now have a...
