I have a BH92 on a Grand L3940 cab, and have had a few problems with 0-rings in the control valves. It's been in the shop twice, and I only have 350 hours on the meter. Dealer claims the hydraulic remote, that operates a front grapple, is causing pressure spikes to the BH92 and blowing out...

R4's have been great for me on my L3940, 350 hours. I contemplated AG tires, but opted for the R4's. They've served well in mud/clearing land, snow, etc. Pretty gentle on the yard too, which was a benefit. I've been overall happy with the R4's.

I have a BH92 on a L3940 HST Cab, and have been digging tree stumps for about 18 months. It seems to do fine. My only complaint has been the main controls seem to be not as robust as the physical portions of the back hoe. I've had o-rings go out twice, and only at 350 hours. Not sure how...

Re: BH92 on a Grand L40 Cab? I have a L3940 CAB HST and had a BH92 back hoe installed when I purchased. The dealer needed an extension for BH, but it works fine.

I have a 09 L3940 cab HST with BH92 back hoe and LA724 loader. I've got 350 on the meter, and have generally been pleased with tractor. The BH92 has had some issues with the o-rings in the main valves on the BH. Dealer says it's due to a rear remote they connected to a front grapple bucket...
