Best implement I have on the tractor cause we have rocks, lots of rocks. I routed the hydraulic hoses on the outside and they have never been a problem snagging. Looks weird but has been great for 17 years now. I used a no name cylinder so no help there.

As noted…bevel, clean area, heat…lots of heat(amps), and get a good root pass in to layer on top of…watch distortion or movement on early passes.

Hold my beer. So far this year only a little smoke comparatively and only a week or two of 100 plus. Normally, for years, this state is on fire and smoke laden…with over 100 for many, many weeks. Jeez, move here and what you guys are talking about will be a season….but you can surf and ski...

Keep that tip pointed straight up and down…it will help blow out the slag. Your pic shows that you are angling it creating a longer cut area and allowing the material to slow down and stick. Up the air flow a bit and try that. It should blow way more material away from your piece.

Out here in CA it was magnificent to see going over the Sierras…you could see the smoke, feel the ground and hear the awesomeness before you could see it around the curves. Of course there were a few protesting the air pollution. Clowns. They were WAY outnumbered though.
