    DIY BH77 Install Journey

Not that you want to dump a bunch more $$, but I recommend the BXpanded quick connector and trenching bucket. I personally rarely use my 12 inch bucket, in favor of the trenching bucket.

    Chain hooks

I personally bought the bolt on hooks because the bracket inside the bucket has a D shackle mount. So I have hooks on top and d shackles in the bucket. One at each cylinder.

Awesome to get that part so fast. Whatever you do, take the loader off on VERY level ground. I thought a slight slope would be ok, it wasn't. Im never doing that again.

    Varmint Eradication / Deterrence

Search YouTube. People hookup lawnmowers "ie small engines with no emissions restrictions" to basically hoses, and dump the carbon monoxide in the hole. Get a little smoke in the exaust and you can see all the other exits and cover them. 30 minutes and they are probably all dead. Gonna try...

Yikes... Are you going to get a new loader arm? I would hope so. I'm glad I didn't have these problems.

    DIY BH77 Install Journey

Fwiw, I didn't take the wheels off when I installed the subframe on my L. It would have been easier, but I got it done. I didn't want to deal with Jack stands ect. Maybe you can do the same.

    DIY BH77 Install Journey

FYI, I couldn't lift my bh77 with my l3901 and forks. I had to lift/drag it off of my utility trailer. It's 850lbs, plus A LOT of wood in the transport frame. I did my own install too. Definitely get metric taps to chase the mounting holes for the subframe bolts. Mine were badly powder...

PTO Driven log splitter vs. stand alone L3902HST

I don't think I ever said you or your preferences were "wrong". I was ever only pointing out a scenario. For me, one transport vehicle, with a decoupled standalone splitter, has its advantages.

PTO Driven log splitter vs. stand alone L3902HST

How can you split at the PTO and load into the bucket without walking to the front of the tractor? I mean if COURSE you can do that, but it's extra steps. And yes, there are many other choices one can use as a load vehicle. If you have a small area/a helper... not a big deal. If you are by...

PTO Driven log splitter vs. stand alone L3902HST

My thought on this topic is, how will you transport the split wood. I use my tractor bucket and rear carry all box for this task. It's very nice to split the wood and then put it in the delivery vehicle, instead of having to put it back on the ground, and then touching it (lifting it up)...

    BX 2380

Yep. It all goes back to what are you doing with this machine...I swear, Kubota should be paying Messicks for the awesome content that guy publishes about their equipment and tractors in general.

    Simple Chicken Coop

Check out this one, this is what I will build if I ever get around to it. (There are tons of great builds on youtube really).

    BX 2380

I assume the mower deck is bundled with the tractor on the line item? Is the "quick coupler" a "skid steer quick attach" on the loader? Some people like pin on buckets for more capacity in the BX series. Are you sure "you" want R14 tires? Looks pretty "close" to an offer I recently priced.

    Help me decide

Have you seen the LocknLube grade gun couplers. Those things are 1000% worth it. I also bought guns (both pistol and lever style) from them, and they have been good.

    L4802 or MX5400 to purchase?

Really, this is the question OP should be considering... "What are you doing with this machine?" The only thing mentioned is digging. If you want to dig as your primary activity, get a mini excavator, you will be 1000x happier than a subcompact tractor backhoe.
