What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I am in NB and would like to build one for myself. Where did you source the disk and tines?

    Tire source in Canada

Dealer said they can only order whole wheel package. I guess tho the rims probably do differ between the tires. Its a used B2320 for $11.5k CAD with a single furrow plow, disk, harrow. So $2300 on top of this is still way less then a new B2301 I suppose.

    Tire source in Canada

Does anyone in Canada have a good source for tires? I am looking at a used B2320 with AG tires and would need R14 or Turf. Dealers wants $2300 tax in for tires/rim assembly.

    Brush Cutting Services

I do have additional insurance to be doing work. I am not allowed to do snow removal and excavations. Just light earth works/landscaping type work. I quoted two jobs with my regular rates at $150 for the first hour and $50/her after that. Estimated about 2hrs per acre for a grassy field and both...

    Brush Cutting Services

Just picked up a 48" brush cutter to use on my small 1.5 acre field i cut once a year. My BX1860 was struggling with the fine grass and my older flail mower. Runs the brush cutter great in comparison. Wondering if anyone offers brush cutting services and how you price jobs? Ive been tilling...

    BX with Tiller

I think weight may be the issue combined with the forward rotation. I got this for 600cnd so it owes me nothing. I have paid it off about 10 times in the last two months tilling gardens/lawns. Maybe ill look for a newer reverse tiller. Not as great when you find rocks but should reduce the...

    BX with Tiller

Maybe these tillers are just not heavy enough to sink in as deep as i expect. When I reverse with mine it loads up and digs pretty deep and the tractor actually lugs a little. going forward it doesnt even know its back there.

    BX with Tiller

Ive tried both. I kind of want a reverse rotating tiller. I am doing a lot of tilling on the side and find i need 2-3 passes and still feel its not very deep.

    BX with Tiller

I have a BX1860 and an older FL1000 tiller. I find the tiller really struggles to dig down very deep. Its a forward rotating tiller and I have the skid shows as high as they will go but on new gardens it might get 4". I can reverse with the tiller and it really digs in good but then i leave...

    Is the BX1880 enough

I picked up a BX1860 after pricing a new BX2370 a few years back. I couldnt justify the cost of the new one. I planned to do all my landscaping myself to save some money and end up with a tractor at the end. I mow just under 1 acre (54" deck) and mostly sloped yard so I wanted 4wd after watching...

Purchase of a 2020 Kubota GR 2020/2120 with snowblower

I have an older BX1860. Great little machine. I mow with it as well as run a tiller/flail mower/box blade/landscape rake/rear blade. Purchased it to do my landscaping and now that its done I mow and maintain 300ft of driveway primarily and odd jobs on the side tilling, box blading, etc to pay it...

    Tiller and Flair RPM

This kind of answers my question in regards to the tiller. 211rpm and 230rpm. Ill check to see if my tiller is around this rpm.

    Tiller and Flair RPM

I realize the 540 rpm is the standard and thats all my BX has. Im just wondering if the older equipment was maybe designed for the 750/1000rpm pto that existed on the tracter the original owner had. Which would mean my tiller and flail are spinning to slow when operated at 540. Wondering what...

    Tiller and Flair RPM

I purchased an old tiller and flail mower. The tiller is a Kubota FL1000 and the flail mower is a Vemco which has Kubota stickers on it. An original owner traded in his mid 80s Kubota and these came with it. I am now running these on my BX1860 and I am wondering at what RPM the tiller tines and...

    BX Ballast Box

This is out of the manual. The post above shows a pic of the 'holder plate'. Doesn't mention anything about how much weight it can handle.
