FWIW, the MF135, especially, the later model versions with 4 X 2 transmissions, is one of the most desireable small vintage tractors...

FWIW, gear type transmissions are significantly more efficient than are HST transmissions, at the expense of convenience.

I, too, have owned JD and MF user tractors, as well as Kubotas. Dealer relationship is much more important than is brand in most cases.

Depends upon the implement. Most ground engaging implements require some side to side movement. Many other implements do not.
