How do you change a split shift boot on a B7100? I can’t see how shift knob comes off. So, how do you get the thing on the shift rod?

My 50+ yr old KUB219 has a leaky lift cylinder. Original manual shows part as simply KU074 … is there a replacement available or will I have to find someone to rebuild cylinder? Please advise … Thanks

Did you ever resolve your B7100 steering column issue? I’m having similar problems

B7100 - Replaced thrust bearings and have excessive steering play. Wheel rises about 1/8” from top column bushing before engaging to left. Do I add or remove shims to to tighten play between thrust bearings? I used the 5 original shims, but suspect that gives me too much play and I need to...
