On my 77, like @snoeproe I can/do also “push through” the hoses to access mine. They also make “needle point” grease tips; Although... -
PIt’s tight. But I can push the hoses enough to get my manual grease gun on mine. turning the backhoe to one side can help also.

PI have to keep a regular tipped grease gun handy; there are a lot of places the Lock-Lube will not fit.

PI has teh BX23S lawn mower and regular grease gun couplers can get on that fitting.
