So far I have found some shims a washer with slots A wire thing that looks like its from a bearing All in the rear case. Also a diff bearing has some chunks out which seems unusal. Any ideas on the shims washer.

Before I take the trans out. I noticed the rear 3point wont stay up very long 15min is so is this just typically caused by internal o rings leaking?. Also I have not tested the pto. Will it run while in neutral just move its lever and it should run?

Found this in the bottom of the trans using a magnetic rod also a small part of a tooth.. Are they related I'm not sure. I might try jack up the rear and turn the wheels by hand in neutral and see if the noise is still present.
