My L3901 HST also experiences the PTO not disengaging. The dealer told me to crawl under the tractor and spray Kubota cable lube onto the PTO cable (into the rubber covering) when this happens. REALLY Kubota? How about fixing the problem.

I will check the cable tension this weekend. Thanks for the help.

I have an L3901 with approximately 100 hours that has developed an issue where the PTO doesn’t disengage When I move the I talked to my dealer and did a search here and the “solution” appears to be spraying lubricant into the PTO cable. I have fine that a few times but the issue reappears a few...

My L3901 with 31 hours on it has the same issue with what appears to be oil on the battery tray and on the concrete floor of the barn. I was about to call the dealer but it sounds like the repair is simple, so I guess I will do it myself.

So is the hole in the drawbar a standard size that will accept a standard ball with the threaded shaft, like the hitch on a truck/car?

I also have Ken’s hooks and they are great. I was a bit apprehensive about drilling into my brand new bucket but his instructions made it easy and they are very useful.

I have new L3901HST with about 10 hours on it. There is a relatively loud and annoying whining noise that I believe is coming from the transmission while driving. It seems to be louder when the tractor is under a load, like going up hill. I am hoping someone will tell me this will go away...

Once I figure out how to post pics, I will post a few.

Finally, after a few delays it was delivered today. L3901HST, FEL, rotary cutter, canopy, front pallet forks, cruise control and the right side grab bar, (not sure why they don’t just install them on all L tractors). Now the fun begins.....

Your tractor looks great. I just ordered a new L3901 and can’t wait to start doing a few mods to it. I have learned a lot from this forum. There are some great ideas here.

Yes, the dreaded wait is killing me. It is going to be a long week.

So a new L3901 is heading my way next week. Can’t wait!
