    Had a GREAT DAY

Thanks for your input, the battery connections was my first thought even knowing they had just been cleaned. I failed to mention that I've done this type of work for the last 50 years, half of that in engineering. After my fiasco, still questioning my findings, I verified the battery was toast...

    Had a GREAT DAY

What a fun day I had. Fairly cool out this AM So I though I'll get the lawn mowed. So I jump on the 2120 and start mowing. About ½ way through I stopped to grab a small branch that had fallen. I forgot to shut the PTO on the tractor off so it shut the engine off when I raised up off the seat...

B3200 soft cab for winter ?

Thanks for the suggestion but I have already bought the cab and was posting on my experiences with it. It was a royal PITA to install due to extremely poor instruction and several design issues. However it did come off fairly quick and with everything now located i am hoping it goes on much...

GR2120 slow reverse speed possible fix ;)

I thought I had posted this previously but was not able to find it so i'll post it again. having relied on my well-paid employees to service my tractor's ( BAD IDEA). I just finished the 400 hour service and while doing so decided to investigate the slow reverse issue. What I found may be of...

    GR2120 Front Axle Pivot Adjustment?

Sorry for the delayed reply but yes it does have TWO grease zerks, one on the front and one on the back of the pivot, both blocked with factory paint  . Removing them and a kwik pass with a wire wheel took care of that issue.

B3200 soft cab for winter ?

I know this is a bit late but figured I'd put it up anyway. I wound up buying a cab from Cover my tractor. I will say it was a CHALLENGE to install and their instructions pull a better vacuum than a Hoover, Dyson or Shark could ever hope to. After much effort and several mod's it does fit fairly...

    GR2120 Front Axle Pivot Adjustment?

"The axle pivots to keep all 4 wheels in contact with the ground and if the ground is uneven the axle will pivot until it is mechanically stopped. This is not a problem but as designed." Being a retired engineer, I'll admit I machined a couple of rubber bump stops for the front axle and...

    Is kubota's QC slipping? GR2120 /B3200

Having bought many new Kubota's over the years, (The most recent a GR 2120) it seems that with each new unit I find more little problems, IE: 1. Belt idler arm tweaked. As the bushing in the arm wore a bit, it allowed the pulley and belt to start to start hitting the deck which resulted in the...

    GR2120 Front Axle Pivot Adjustment?

By the way the adjustment is nothing more than adding or subtracting shims to the 2 lowest bolts on the mount that have long spacers as well. Mine was at the outer limit of the spec and rather than make thinner shims I took .045" off each of the spacers with a lathe. can't recall the...

    GR2120 Front Axle Pivot Adjustment?

Can someone shed some light on what's involved to adjust the front axle pivot on a GR 2120? It's at 400 hours so it's due. I haven't gotten around to buying a service manual yet  I've noticed recently the axle housing has some markings from hitting the frame and am hoping this is the...

    Cab heaters preferably 12V ?

Thanks for all the replies. looks like there is no easy solution other than tapping into the cooling system or the diesel as mentioned. I found a couple of 600W units designed and built and here in the US. Spoke with the owner of this company and was impressed with his knowledge and...
