Tractors are not like cars and trucks. You can go inch taller tires on a car all the way around and you just slightly change an odometer/gearing. A tractor usually has very different tire circumferences. Its not an easy call to change one end or the other. A calculator is real key....Good luck...

Close. I kept them all separated and then thought the guts were the same when I put them in the parts washer only to see under the crud some holes... I will be more awake next time. I think I was just amazed I got them open. One took about 200 lbs of torque to open.

I'm rebuilding the hydraulic cylinder for a gannon with rippers and I'm not sure which gets the correct piston. The one in the middle with what seems like spring loaded ball bearings for pressure reduction...for overload? I would imagine its the cylinder for the rippers since the tilt cylinder...

Thanks. I have a 3 spool control valve for it that seems to have 2 inputs and a return to the tractor but I don't see where the drain back to the tractor is. I wish I would of taken a picture of the connections before leaving the guys place.

Its a L3430. I will have to remove the seat tomorrow to see it better. The manual picture is pretty small and I don't want to waste time make hoses that I will have to change. I figure I will keep the right leg hydraulic on the 3 point all the time and make the top link and ripper ones removable.

I'm rebuilding a 3 way Gannon to install on my L3430 and the tractor has a dealer installed hydraulic connector on the back. 2 quick connects. Are they both flow out or is one out and 1 return? The markings makes little sense to me. I have a 3 way control box I will mount on the fender. Thanks...

Into and out of separator was fine. With the mechanical bypassed to a 3-6 lb $20 electric pump it runs normal. I think the replacement mechanical pump was bad. I will just get another one and give it a try. Luckily changing the pump takes minutes.

There's good flow but the new lift pump seemed to be bad. With the electric pump in place it runs fine. I want to get a good mechanical in place instead of the electric pump though.

Yes. I don't know how NO got in there. Misread I guess. Gravity flow is fine and I primed the mechanical pump. No obstruction. New filter and clean tank. The fact that an electric works fine makes me really question the minimal or nil output of the mechanical pumps.

L3430. I put an electric one on and it works fine but I want to get a good quality mechanical one instead. E bay shows 2 styles that do the same thing I would imagine.

Are the Kubota Engine service manuals more specific? They are 135 pages for the D1703. Or do they just cut out the tractor/frame sections. I have a download one for my L3430 thanks to Wolfman but they don't seem to get into specifics. I ordered a paper one since its easier to leaf through since...
