    Gear heads

I used the Range disabler on the 2018 Silverado, worked for me. The 2026 Sierra uses a different disabler which also shuts off the start-stop feature. This installs on the computer by removing the left front wheel, the older ones just plug into the diagnostic port under the dash. You can also...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Late season snow removal. BX2680 with 48" commercial blower. Had to open for an old woman to leave to go play organ at her church in St Peter, so I did mine too. Will need to do it again when the storm is over. Not real nice outside.

    Hydraulic Leak

Just as a point of interest where I worked we had a JD 850 which was made by Yanmar. It used a similar type of hydraulic pump connection. We ended up replacing the line twice due to cracking where the tube was welded to the base. It saw a lot of loader use. Just wanted to post as possible leak...

    BX cab heat

The clamps suggested would most likely be an improvement over the stock clamps. The issue would be if there is enough room inside the heater assembly as it is tight with what is there. At this point the leaking is under control and I will not revisit until I see leaking.

Bx 4070a Cab Dashboard and heater Wiring diagrams

Unfortunately, there are no diagrams that I can find. The heater has its own manual. The BX-80 series cab heater is p/n BX4071. The power supply comes into the heater on the right side of the cab to the heater breaker then to the switch which feeds both heater fans. If you look at my other post...

    BX cab heat

I have a 2019 BX2680 with the dealer installed Curtis cab. I use it for snow removal and some tilling. This winter season the heat developed a coolant leak in the cab. In the process of trying to find the leak I decided to remove the inner heater shroud. This is located below the windshield. I...

    USPS is messed up!!!

Did you ever track UPS next day air? From Sioux City to Kentucky then Mankato. Becomes 2-3 day air in storms. Standard ground would have been quicker. USPS priority mail goes cross country in 3 days they must have used the lowest cost option.

    BX1880 Snowblowing

I think the dealer is trying to up sell you. I have a BX2680 with 48" blower and a JD X739 with a 47" blower. I believe that what you will find is that the BX1880 is that in heaver snow it will be a little slower due to power issues. Getting stuck is a personal problem. When the snow is cleared...

    Snow removal

Good advice here. I do have a contractors policy in effect already and an inland marine policy as part of it. Just trying to figure an appropriate rate. Just looking at something to do when retirement hits in the near future. I have stayed away from snow removal as I was doing some part time...

    Snow removal

I am considering doing some snow removal. I have been out of the game for 30+ years due to other work. Things have changed a bit and now I can find the time to do some. My question is how to charge. In the past I charged per time. I am using a BX2680 with 48" front blower. Any guidance would be...
