    Snowblower Shear Bolts

Depending on your tolerances make sure you determine whether or not your bolt should be threaded. It makes a difference...

    Snowblower Shear Bolts

I also had a problem with the fan shear bolt failing everytime I wanted to clear my driveway. I was also told to get a bunch of grade 2 bolts and it did not solve the problem. Not wanting to damage my snowblower I researched the strength of the bolts and contacted Kubota about what the specs...

    B2782 shear bolts

A long time ago I posted information about shear bolts because I thought a Grade 8 bolt was too strong for the impeller fan on my snow blower. Rather than repost the entire post here is a link (that I hope works) to the original post...

    Cordless Grease Guns

After reading on this forum about cordless grease guns I looked into them. Since I have a lot of Ryobi tools already it was a no brainer to get the Ryobi cordless grease gun. I cannot stand having so many different batteries and not having any charged! So since my wife has household...

    B2782 Impellor housing cracked!

I have an asphalt driveway that has degraded so much that sometimes a small chunk of it gets picked up by the blower and thrown. I think this is what might have happened. The impellors already have about .25" of clearance between their tips and the surface of the housing. I did buy this used...

    B2782 Impellor housing cracked!

While blowing some heavy snow/ice I noticed snow being blown from under my blower and when I investigated I found that my impellor housing cracked (see pictures). I have replaced many shear bolts on the impellor before so I was surprised that this cracked instead of the shear bolt breaking. My...

    B2782 shear bolts

I tried grade 5 in mine and it seemed to sheer a lot more often than the grade 8 bolt. Pain in the neck to change them multiple times during a storm...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Mounted my snowblower on my B2710, along with all the greasing/lubricating required, and noticed that I was starting to get that dreaded "click" when you turn the key and there is not enough power for the starter to turn the engine over. So I bought the "Starter Relay Kit AM107421" and installed...

    Where does your tractor sleep?

I never posted where my tractor sleeps... Originally it was in one of those "canvas/tarp" type of structures. When it was getting old where it looked like it was not going to last much longer, I upgraded to the steel framed structure. I put the sides on, and created the vinyl roll up fronts myself.

    Grease guns and grease

I have a lot of Ryobi tools and batteries rated for 1.5 up to 6AH. So when I saw that Ryobi was coming out with a grease gun that would push 10K PSI I waited for it. I finally got it and used it on my B2710 that was overdue for a greasing (i.e. sat in the shelter for an extended period) and I am...

    Trailer weight

My first reply was referring to using the trailer with two 5,200lb axles. I think that was not clear from my post and might have given the assumption that I was saying to use a trailer with an unsafe rating. My apologies. Sometimes I think faster than I type and the message is not clear...

Let's help build up Kubotabooks.com's database of manuals

I think I have an updated WSM for Kubota B1710, B2110, B2410 and B2710 with a copyright date of February 2001. It is in PDF form and I purchased this manual. Is this something you would like to have uploaded to Kubotabooks.com?

    Trailer weight

The weight limit on a trailer is like a working load limit for chains. The trailer should be able to normally handle the weight limit and not fail while having that weight on it. In the words of an old trucker with some 40 years hauling he told me you can easily go over the weight limit on a...

    Putter geeks

If you are getting email from UPS the you should be able to go to UPS.com and "unsubscribe" from all emails. In most cases the add that is sent to you will have an "unsubscribe" link in the very small print at the bottom of the add. This is usually required by all spam advertisers. Another...

Cab or No Cab... That is the Question

:D:D:eek: I guess I could just put the intruder through the snowblower...
