I have two of the LuMax brand pumps and they have been good pumps. I bought them at a farm store years ago. I don't use them a lot but there handy when I need them.

I normally like to run a couple tanks of treated fuel threw my snow plowing rig which is normally my skid steer before the real cold sets in. I always check the cord on the engine heater to make sure its doesn't have any bad spots in it. and plug it in ahead of time to make sure its working also.

I voted no. I have run loaders on and off since I was a kid. I have had a few with the rod type indicator and I never use them. I have had a couple of loaders with the self leveling and I always turn them off. A little seat time and your good to go. I hope your idea works out.
