    Happy Block Heater Day!

I have four pieces of equipment that have Kubota diesel engines in them and only one has a block heater in it which is my skid steer. The other three won't be used when its 30 degrees and lower out.

    Neglected L4760 Grand

In my life time I have bought more than my share of repo equipment from farm tractors, semi's ,cars, pickups and list goes on. The key to things like this tractor is you have to buy them {wholesale}. You have to buy it so if it ends up needing a motor you are still ok and you have to able to do...

Wish I had another inch or so ;)

Mine was a 52. I had put a little later T90 trans and transfer case with a Warn Overdive on it out of a 60"s IH Scout. No many FC's in my area and the few that were completely rusted out. Driving cabover semi's for years I always wanted a FC. Shouldn't sold the Willy's but someone had more money...

    Tonneau Cover Suggestions/Recommendations

I had the twin to your truck I bought it new in 2001 and it was a 2002. It by far was one of the best trucks I owned. Because of heart failure in 2004 and a big change in our farming operation I sold it and a all aluminum three axle stock trailer that I pulled with that truck.

To Sell or not to Sell L3010

First off welcome to the forum. Looks like you have a nice place there and looks like the previous owner took care of that tractor. There is no way I would sell that tractor and buy a old wore out gas engine tractor. If it seems a little big for you and you don't use the backhoe a lot take it...

    Inverted Snowblower Good, Bad, Ugly

Your are 100% correct. With no in town job anymore and no livestock any more. If I had my way I would be down south for the winter but the boss {Wife} says I would just be board down there. We have had a pretty mild winter here. I have done a lot of scraper dirt work. I moved snow once in Nov...

    Inverted Snowblower Good, Bad, Ugly

In my area when you need a snow blower is when you get 12 inches of snow and the wind blows. You have four to five foot deep drifts that could be a hundred or more yards long. You aren't using your inverted snow blower then. You will have your tractor high centered in the first few feet of the...

    A truck and trailer thread.

That is some strange marking on those rotors. Is pad material coming off the pads I have seen that happen. In all my years around heavy duty disc brakes I have never seen that much slop between the wheel studs and rotors. I would wonder if some of those Fords have different sized wheel studs...

I really need to stay off Craigslist ...., Version II

A couple in my home town bought a pair of those red Honda 90 trails must of been some where around 1968 or so. He was a dozer man and she drove school bus. They ride them every where. Good little cycles. We had a large Kawasaki dealer in the county seat twenty miles from my home town and I rode...

    Leather Work Gloves

    F350 Idler pulley....

I ran one of those engine over 300,000 miles and never had that happen but I always loctite those bearing in. Just finished up a JD 8420 tractor changing belts and put a couple bearings in some idler's and loctited those bearings in. The last thing I want is a idler going threw a five to seven...

Wish I had another inch or so ;)

Scissors no one will ever call you lazy. Back in the day when I plowed snow with a old 50's Willy's pickup with a custom aluminum flat bed. with a 327 Chev engine and a Meyer plow I just used sch 80 pipe cut to size for spacers. I pushed on cement and then on gravel a lot so many spacer changes...

    Speculative tractor upgrade - pondering

It funny all my bigger, fancier tractors have tilt wheel in them and I never use them. One gentlemen that helps me during spring planting and fall harvest moves the wheel up ever time he gets out of the tractor or semi for that matter. I am way north of a couple thousand hours on my MX6000 and...
