    Not sure. Did some reading in "interwebs" which suggested this was the case. Manual sitting at home as I am traveling. Always seems I think of these questions when I am away from the farm. Guessing best answer is to idle for 3 minutes at low RPM's everytime as a precaution.

    Been reading about need to let tractor turbo cool down before shutting down. My L6060 apparently has water cooled turbo, which some say doesn't need idle time to cool down. So if I need to let idle after hard loads, what RPM and for what duration is advised? Thanks.

    Label from my fuel transfer tank. Thank God that diesel fuel is not a flammable fluid. Thought I was in trouble there for a minute. (See words under Fluid Transfer Tank).

    Yes, it is incredibly tedious and time consuming to clean all the joints first. Demotivating. Seems many just grease and go and if that means more motivation to grease more frequently, better than not greasing frequently enough. Thanks all.

    When greasing my zerks, I clean off the old grease that has oozed out of the joints and accumulated crusty dirt first. I go through multiple rags as the old grease can be quite tenacious and thick. Was wondering if folks use a solvent/spray that is paint safe to assist in cleaning off the...

    You could use a Yagi hooked up to your modem aimed at the RV park's transmitter to "gain" more signal strength at the receiver ( your modem ).

    Call a local beekeeper. Their suit will protect them while they remove nest. Or, whack nest at night with wasp spray. Or, knock it down at night into a bucket/ barrel of soapy water. Good luck.
