    BX25D PTO lever

As you can see in the picture attached, the only way to remove the bolt is to remove the transmission from the frame. I did get it free though. I used a 3 pound hammer and a solid steel bar to gently move the PTO plate. The first 50 or so left right movements required the hammer. The next...

    BX25D PTO lever

OK, now I get it. I thought you meant the bolt and plate were preventing the valve from rotating. Vince

    BX25D PTO lever

Are you saying the factory installed bolt 060 and tab 050 to prevent the PTO from engaging? Vince

    BX25D PTO lever

When you engage the PTO with the lever labeled F125XX, it tried to rotate the bracket number 010. It has to rotate bracket 010 or you just bend the PTO lever. The lever F125XX is item #6 in the diagram below PTO clutch lever. Vince

    BX25D PTO lever

I have been trying to get the PTO to move for over a week now. There is not much place for penetrating oil to go, most of the works are internal. I have been tapping the lever (item #10 in the top diagram) a little every day but it never moves. Now I have a question. With the PTO off (where...

    BX25D PTO lever

I guess my question now is: how do I get it unseized? Vince

    BX25D PTO lever

I am trying to fix everything on a new to me BX25D. It has 455 hours. I am pretty sure it has had the backhoe installed since new. I removed the backhoe and am now trying to get the PTO to work. The PTO lever was bent so I removed it and got it straight. But now I can see why it was bent...

    BX25D Traveling speed

Fixed. It was a linkage problem. The tractor would go twice as fast in reverse than forward. I adjusted the speed change rod and now it goes 8mph forward and backwards. Thanks for all the suggestions. BTW, this was my neighbors tractor for 7 years. I used it more than he did but I didn't...

    BX25D Traveling speed

I'm pretty sure it is a pedal/linkage problem. It goes in reverse 8 mph.

    BX25D Traveling speed

The ball joint looks fine, but the bracket the pedal is attached to has a lot of play on the shaft. I get almost 2" of pedal travel before the linkage starts to move. There is a roll pin through the bracket and shaft, but still a lot of movement. I'll see if I can get it off and figure out...

Thanks for the useful post. I will check them. Vince

    BX25D Traveling speed

Because something is obviously wrong. Would you drive your car if something broke and it couldn't go faster than 65? For all I know I am damaging the tractor by even driving it.

    BX25D Traveling speed

My manual says the traveling speed of the 2013 BX25D is 0-4 in low and 0-8 in high. I am seeing 0-1.5 in low and 0-3 in high. Any suggestion on how to get the factory speeds? Vince

    B2100 3-point hitch

When I lift up the 3-point hitch by hand the lever moves, so I am guessing it is connected.
