What did you do to your Implement today

The old teeth were 18 years old and if the new ones last that long I'm sure they will outlast the machine and myself.

A question for those with an MX5400/6000 with cab and A/C or similar tractor.

There is 2 bolts holding that bracket to the engine the belt is adjusted from the other side with a slotted bracket and a tension through bolt. I think Wolfman is correct in thinking it's there for protection and I think it's protecting the rubber hose going into the top of the oil filter base...

    My gutless wonder

I think you would like the MX if you decide to go that route that's a big difference in machines.

    Relief valve shims

I'm not sure if your model is the same as our M5700 but here is the way ours is adjusted from the WSM.

    My gutless wonder

I know this isn't going to be much help because mine didn't have a belly mower but I was able to mow with a 5' 3pt bush hog in mid range without and problems. I sold mine because I hated the Mickey Mouse LA435 loader on it the new design for easy on easy off "Swift-tach" was garbage in my opinion.

    What is this switch for?

It would be easy enough to test it out and see if that's what it does. I wouldn't be concerned with the 40 amp rating on the relay most people just use what ever they have available and that lighted switch probably isn't rated more than 10 amps. If done safely it will have a fuse sized...

    What is this switch for?

I bet it bypasses the seat switch so you can stand up and see the end of your forks while moving under a load without the tractor shutting off.

    buying Advice for 100-125hp tractor

Personally I'd go with a JD 6 Series outfitted per your specifications it's going to be your best option out there and easiest to get configured exactly the way you need it.
