    B2601 Alternator

Hey Wayne I’m interested in the alternator also. Can you tell me how much it cost? And did you order it from the dealer? My dealer seems pricier then most! Thanks Ditchdigger

    Panel removal B 2601

Thanks! I did find the connectors, no blue tape, but wrapped in black electricians tape. I***8217;ll check those options out. I***8217;m sure to find some lights I like.

    Panel removal B 2601

Big G Thank you. That could be, I did notice black electrician tape under the right/passenger side. I’ll unravel that this afternoon. Maybe the tech that set up the tractor is over aggressive with electricians tape. I did notice the wires going to the brake light were wrapped pretty good...

    Panel removal B 2601

Hey Dirtydeed + Steve 67 The drawing will help a lot, thank you Dirtydeed! Steve I’ve looked both sides 3-4 times, without seeing it. I’ll put new batteries in my flashlight and look again for the blue tape! Steve did you add work lights to yours? If so what brand, size, and how many...

    Panel removal B 2601

Hey all I want to wire a pair of work lights to the ignition switch. I have tried several searches without luck. So, can anyone tell me how to get the panel off, where the ignition switch is? I have a B2601 HST. I don’t see any screws or clips on the panel itself. I’m sure there are...

    Happy New Year 2020

Hey all I’m planning on digging up the our driveway, laying down some 4” minus. Covering that with geotechnical, and top coat of 1 1/2” crush + run 6” deep. Driveway is 250’ long with one 25’ x 25’ parking area, and the space in front of a two bay garage. The spoils I will put in a low spot...

    Exercise after 60

Yeah I’m 65 and I’ve been walking 45- 60 minutes every day. Since my surgery last winter. Like someone else said, diet is important. I’m also pretty active around the house. Shuttle pellets in every day, to feed two pellet stoves. Run the laundry up + down the stairs for my wife. I feel better...

new B2601 owner with step question

Hey Pondmeadow I installed the ez on step from Modspecialties, to my B2601. Love it, very sturdy. This step also may be in the way of a mid-mower deck. I too added it for my wife. Made it much easier and safer for her to get on + off! I also am researching for a hook for the loader bucket...

    New B2601 wiring

Hi everyone, a new owner/member here I’m thinking of adding work lights to my B2601. I’ve read that there is a prewired, from the factory connection underneath by the brake lights somewhere. Can anyone tell me which side it is on? Better yet, show me a picture of it’s location? Somewhere I...

Tractor Purchase Not Working Out, Getting Stressed

I’m a new owner myself. Waiting is never fun! I ordered a new car some years ago. Dealer told me 8-10 weeks. It took 4 months before I got it. When I did get, I was the most fun I’ve ever had with a car! However, if this dealer isn’t forth coming with anything soon, I’d be asking for my...
