What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Broken Soil line today. Short, shallow and not a whole lot of room so, B2650 got the nod today. Ready: diggy: Pipe and stone: Backfill: Rough grade: Customer looking things over.... and many people say that backhoes on CUTS are just a toy. No, sometimes, they are just the tool...

    Tractor Stability

I did a quick search in the owners manual and couldn't find any mention of rear wheel spacers. So, perhaps it's a non issue.

    Fuel prices

Well, this was today's price locally. For some reason, they were $.35/gal higher than other stations up the road. I only needed a few gallons so I didn't feel like turning around. I won't be getting gas there again. Just remember that you can never trust a company with "double-cross" in their...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Freebie post excavation cleanup job. Did it for free, but it led me to land another easy-peasy NOT FREE job from the homeowner. So, it will have been well worth it (I hope anyway). Before: after: done: Here's a preview of the next job 😁

    Tractor Stability

Hang on there. Please clarify what you intend to cut and with what type of mower? If you are really intending on getting a bush hog you WILL need to keep the loader on. Brush hog (rotary mowers) are very heavy and stick out a very long way behind you. You would also be looking at a 4 foot wide...

    Tractor Stability

Assuming that you are talking about using a belly mower. No. take it off. All the loader will do is add unnecessary weight and create a higher center of gravity. Neither of which is helpful on a slope.

Mower drive shaft to mid pto issue

No. the PTO end doesn't have a key way. its like any other PTO connection. try slipping it in a half inch or so before pulling the collar back.

Mower drive shaft to mid pto issue

You should be able to slip the pto shaft on about 3/4" before you have to pull the collar back. If I recall correctly, the shafts need to be aligned properly (there is one additional slot/key on the shaft). It will only slip on in one position. I used to mark it with a grease pencil beforehand...

Towing B2601 with 14 ft trailer - SA or TA

I picked up some stone today at an equipment rental place (they sell landscape supplies too). As I was leaving, a guy pulled out of the lot just ahead of me towing a wheeled bobcat skid steer (a rather large one, I'm guessing every bit of 8K) on a short tandem trailer with his sporty SUV. I...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Dry well installation today with the B2650. Got down 2 feet and hit some of the nastiest grey clay I've seen in a while. You know, the stuff that you use to line a pond. It was like heavy putty. I tried digging deeper to see if it was just a clay lens. Nope. There is no way water from a...

Towing B2601 with 14 ft trailer - SA or TA

Dieseldonato- thanks for the explanation. They will get you one way or another if they want to. I'm in PA as well. I have also been told that if you haul a trailer over 10K, you need a medical card. When I asked my dr about where to go for the physical in order to get a medical card, he thought...

    Fuel prices

It was tongue in cheek. Meaning, maybe you should keep the cheap gas place all to yourself. I was only joking

    Tree spade L2501

I didn't mean to wizz on your plan. That wasn't my intent at all. In the link that I sent they had some towable units as well. I have no idea how they would work. There has to be a few folks on here that have tree farms.
