Better payment method than actual cash

Honestly if you're that concerned, don't sell anything or buy anything. At some point you have to take a chance. Also I don't know if you have special vision, but I've never walked around and been able to see how much money someone has on them as I pass by them. Basically no one is going to...

    Crazy steel prices!

For cheap steel tubing look on Craigslist for used weight lifting equipment. Used to be that you could get them for free just by dragging it out of someones basement, now it might cost a couple bucks because everyone is a capitalist. Either way, there's some nice square tubing in the big...

    Automatic fromt quick attach

One thing to keep in mind is someone could double up on two of the cheaper ones with half the force and half the stroke needed, but faster speed. Would get the full stroke required, at the right force, but also faster speed.

    Automatic fromt quick attach

First link I could find on a google search. https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/threads/linear-actuator-for-power-ssqa.321704/

    Turf?

I have R14's on my B2601 (a little lighter than yours) and have zero problems driving on the grass, just don't do it in 4x4. I also have great traction in everything else. I haven't gotten into mud yet, but I'm not overly concerned either.

    Are you ready for Winter?

Once you have a cab for any snow removal equipment you'll never want to go open station. I definitely recommend getting one even with plowing. I plow my 850 foot driveway with a 825e Gator with extra weight in the back and a 6 foot plow. I made a cab for it cause I couldn't bring myself to...

    Shortening a chain saw chain?

Key phrase, you do it all the time. For a one time event without the proper tools and no knowledge on the subject other than a youtube video, I'd still prefer to be safer and buy a different chain. Plus it's most likely cheaper for a home owner saw than buying the proper tools to shorten one...

    Shortening a chain saw chain?

Step 1: Watch Scarface Step 2: Take the chain back and exchange for the right size (mistakes happen, businesses realize this). Step 3: If they won't take it back, buy the right size chain and sell the other one (Kijiji, Craigslist, Facebook marketplace, flea market, etc..) Step 4: Use a...

The more I hate, the more I hate computers

Find someone in their late 30's early 40's like Tornado that lives nearby (I only say nearby so they can run the computer). Befriend this person, if you can make sure they don't have a tractor or are not "hands on". Trade computer work for tractor work, you'll be amazed at how much easier that...

Hearing protection with music when running the tractor? What do you use?

I know I'm a little late to the party, but this is what I use and they're dirt cheap. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00001P4XA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I know they're corded, which sucks, but I run the cord under my t-shirt to keep it out of the way and then control...

Found some weird stripped bolts sitting on my new LX-2610

Based on the images and the assembly drawings I wouldn't be worried about hitting something with the ROPS moving in the forward direction and stripping out those bolts. Actually at that point those bolts wouldn't really be doing anything except holding the lower ROPS bracket in place as the...

    CID rock bucket

Got me a 48" CID rock bucket for my B2601. This thing is awesome and the perfect size for the tractor too. Digs real well and I was finally able to easily place stones for a retaining wall. A little pricey of a somewhat "single use" attachment, but I needed it. When we built the house 3...

Picture of your tractor on your trailer

Yeah it's a little dinky for the Kubota, was bored and wanted to see if it would fit, never hauled it anywhere. I had the trailer out to see if my gator would fit anyways, so tried the Kubota. Plus it's a good visual representation to the great opinionator who handles the finances in my house...

Picture of your tractor on your trailer

Here's the day I brought my B2601 home. Trailer is my bosses "Quality" Aluminum Trailers 20 foot car hauler, pulls nice and easy as it's lighter than a steel one and holds his Bobcat 763 just right. The kids couldn't help themselves when I brought the Kubota home, I barely got it off the...

    Shed upgrade started

Send some up my way to WI, we're really dry here now and need rain bad.....though that just brings in the Mosquitos. Not sure about the codes by you, but we've built houses before with this stuff for wall sheathing. I'm tempted to go this route on my shed build this summer just to help save...
