L2850 was hard to get in reverse and now the clutch is not engaging

Truth be told, my foot slipped off the clutch while in gear and it unstuck. If that doesn't fix it, try Wolfman's suggestions from Mar 30, 2025, #12

Kubota L2850 GST 4x4 with a loader - Pause between gears when shifting

It does seem to be getting longer but that might be my imagination. How do I test the hydraulic pressures? I bet I need to buy a hydraulic pressure tester. ;-) Any suggestions?

Kubota L2850 GST 4x4 with a loader - Pause between gears when shifting

When I shift gears on my Kubota L2850 GST 4x4 with a loader, there is a notable 1-2 second pause before the new gear engages. It may or may not be connected but my loader is quite slow. I'm planning a hydraulic oil and 2 filer change. Will this resolve the shifting issue? On my B72oo there...

L2850 was hard to get in reverse and now the clutch is not engaging

I checked the WSM and Owners Manual and I can't find a reference to the split pin drain or clutch drain. Do you know where it is in those manuals?

L2850 was hard to get in reverse and now the clutch is not engaging

The clutch is now free and working fine. Is there anything I should do after freeing the clutch?

L2850 was hard to get in reverse and now the clutch is not engaging

I removed the covers as suggested and it now slides from forward to neutral and reverse with no issues. I even managed to back it up and move it from the field to the workshop. It seems there is a mechanical issue that was impeding the linkage. I can fix that. After checking the actual tractor...

L2850 was hard to get in reverse and now the clutch is not engaging

" As stated, I can't get it into reverse. This started as a difficulty, but still possible, last year and now I can't get it into reverse at all." Forward works but is difficult now and it easily goes back to neutral. Depressing the clutch does not stop the tractor from moving when in forward...

L2850 was hard to get in reverse and now the clutch is not engaging

There is no reverse on the shuttle. The forward, neutral and reverse is a lever on the column. The center location on the shuttle is is 4th or 5th gear and no, it does no stop. It moves. As stated, I can't get it into reverse. This started as a difficulty, but still possible, last year and now...

L2850 was hard to get in reverse and now the clutch is not engaging

I can easily move the shuttle lever but the clutch remains engaged. I can move from a drive gear to neutral to stop the tractor but even with the clutch completely depressed, when in gear, the tractor moves. How can I disengage the clutch?

L2850 was hard to get in reverse and now the clutch is not engaging

Last fall, my Kubota L2850 GST 4x4 with a loader was hard to get in reverse and now, after sitting all winter, the clutch will not engage. I can get it into forward, with difficulty, when I depress the clutch, it keeps going forward. I can't get it into reverse at all. The loader works but...

What year (roughly) is my Kubota L2250?

North Idaho Wolfman identified the weakness in the Kubota website database. If you don't enter the correct description, like 2WD, it fails to find my 2WD L2250. I'm a computer engineer and that's a VERY poorly designed database. Properly designed, it should give me all possibilities and, seeing...

Can’t find the serial number on my B7200 HST 4WD.

Of course I do. It was the first place I checked before searching the net and then coming here. Too bad it's WRONG!! Again. That's what makes this group so helpful. They know more than the guys who built the tractor.

Can’t find the serial number on my B7200 HST 4WD.

Mystery solved. The HST serial is in a different spot than the geared model. Knowing where to wipe off the grease turned it from this: To this: Thanks guys.

What year (roughly) is my Kubota L2250?

Finally, some good advice. I had to go to https://shop.kubotausa.com to create My Garage and add a unit but I got an error with the L2250 Then I tried the other 3 tractors that I have serial #'s for and I got the same error. They can't all be wrong so not sure what's going wrong. Are these...

What year (roughly) is my Kubota L2250?

Actually, I've been looking at both tractordata AND Tractor-Data but when I said TractorData.com, that's where I was looking. As said in my original post "www.tractordata.com doesn’t list any serial numbers and https://tractor-data.com/kubota-tractors-serial-number-location/ shows serial #’s...
