    Grapple for L3901 or substitute?

Cabeled trees, typo & corrected. They're trees that were torn out the ground with cables & left in piles. Ranchers did this to Juniper trees for their cattle thinking more pasture grass would grow but it only created erosion. Don't want to skid logs. Junipers arent like pine that are 20 ft...

    Grapple for L3901 or substitute?

That's fine but that's for a compact tractor. Still, these are $2k-$3k. Looking for less expensive option if there is one.

    Grapple for L3901 or substitute?

I want to move some cable down trees from my property. I'm looking for pricing on grapples and they seem pretty expensive ($2k-$3k). Has anyone found anything else that works similiarily for moving piles of trees? I saw a pallet fork that seems like it may do the job for fraction of the cost...

    Trencher bucket for L3901

Well, I say it's taking a beating since it took 11 hrs to dif a 450 trench. Maybe I'm using the wrong term. How long did it take for your trench?

    Trencher bucket for L3901

Thanks. I have another 700' to do & don't care to use this bucket for the job. The tractor really takes a beating at 18"-24" deep. You have a BX which is much smaller, right? That's a much smaller rig.

    Trencher bucket for L3901

I have a 16" bucket for my backhoe & installing a waterline & irrigation line 18" deep. I've already dug the water line with my regular bucket & it took about 11 hrs for 450 ft. and it was hard on my backhoe (ground is soft on top 2"-3' loamy and clay further down). Now I need to dig my...

Drop time for a BH77 backhoe?

I have a L3901 with the BH77 backhoe. When I first got the tractor with backhoe attachment, I thought the drop time was about 2 days until it touched the ground (2 yrs ago). Now, after turning tractor off, after about 6 hrs it's already down. Is this normal? I called the dealer I got tractor...

    10 hr. Service for L3901

Thanks for your input. I got my tractor for grading (when the roads degrade with weather) on my property, moving around dirt & gravel for the area, and using the backhoe on ocassions. In total, I'll probably be operating the tractor about 100 hrs/ year, at most, unless something else comes up...

    10 hr. Service for L3901

It did, thanks. There is a dealer in the area & said he has this - is it the same as you have?: GPOR2CR WHICH IS THE NLGI#2 RUNS 9.00 PLUS TAX FOR 1 OR 10 15 OZ CARTRIDGES RUNS $80 OR $8/CARTRIDGE. That was his reply to me & said it was the same product.

    10 hr. Service for L3901

There is a dealer near me but appears to be an individual with a Yahoo email. What's the difference between NLGI #1 ***2? To get preferred pricing, looks like you need to join a membership. How many tubes do you go through a year? If its synthetic grease, would you still need to grease every...

    10 hr. Service for L3901

I answered sidecarflip's comment that relates to yours. I think I'll go with the synthetic - it's worth the extra $6. Like I told sidecarflip, the dealer seemed to look down at synthetic.

    10 hr. Service for L3901

So true. Guess I'll return what I have & replace with synthetic. It's funny, my dealer skaufs at synthetic for some reason. Their comment is "it's ok, if you want to spend the money, most people get poly". So I got poly. But, if synthetic is supieror to the others, I'll go & invest. It's...
