Its not that uncommon to have to pay upfront for made to order items. Right now the market on tractor stuff is crazy and supply is limited. If you look at made to order firearms you pay the balance up front and wait. Its sux but credit card protections help make it safer. Ive been burned before...

I just got rid of my BX2680 for a B2650. I personally wasnt really impressed with the lift capacity of the BX. Far as moving firewood goes I would go with the 2601 just for the larger bucket. With my BX it took me 5 bucket loads to fill an IBC tote with firewood. I have not tried filling one...
