Sidekick RTV-XG850 backfiring / loss of power

Catalyst - quite right. I caught myself reflecting the same thing - a lot of very knowledgeable folks on this site and it's great they are so willing to share their expertise and experience.

Sidekick RTV-XG850 backfiring / loss of power

As it turns out, me too. Getting info on the unit turned out to be a challenge, and the sitting part left me uncomfortable as well. So Polaris it is - a little Ranger 570 arrives Thursday. Lugbolts recommendation and Magicmans push (Buy the Boat...) was all it took.

Mowbizz - the "Deal" is still a question with me and it shows this has sat on the lot for a few years, so... Sidekick - thanks for the advice - I will definitely make sure I know what the engine is about before pursuing it further (good info on the shifting as well - that could be an issue for...

Sidekick RTV-XG850 backfiring / loss of power

It turns out I am considering one of these units. Having read this thread I kind of leaned towards a Polaris Ranger but I see my local Kubota dealer has a "deal" on a new 2022 Kubota RTV-X Series RTV-X900W Diesel. What say you folks? Light duty work (hey I am getting old) but I kind of like the...

It is officially spring - Rufous has arrived (amazingly the same day every year +/- 1 day). The second shot is an Annas Female.

    Another thread deleted?

OTT did a noble thing when Henros Let them Die thread was allowed to run. Yes it got political, testy and out of control at times but the discussion was valuable - sometimes it good to step up to the plate.

Electric Cars - 12 minutes worth watching

I would not consider Saskatchewan Research Council funding as an example of economically self sustaining - more of our tax dollars one way or another. When the $80 million committed hits $160 million with no end in sight...

Electric Cars - 12 minutes worth watching

If anyone is aware of a currently functioning, economically self sustaining small scale nuclear reactor (not the arm waving - a real live example) please provide the details.

Pape' John Deere of Aberdeen, Wa.

I actually had some dealings with them - they sent a JD lawnmower part I needed up here when the local JD dealer could not provide it. Always bad to lose a good dealer.
