    BX1870-1 Block Heater

I installed a block heater on the front of my older BX1800, plenty of room. Must be a design change?

is my tractor now scrap metal?

What Steve said. I use 911 as it's available pretty much everywhere. I was concerned when I got fuel last year and it was no longer blue tinted. Found out it's low sulfer and additives are highly recommended for older diesels. I use it with my 2003 Bx.

    Trailer hitch Ball

I made this one myself. It stays on the 3pt unless I need it for the ballast or rotary mower. So handy to just back up to a trailer, drop the 3 point, back under the coupler and raise it. All from sitting down.

Worth converting a snow plow to fit a BX?

Thanks all. After reading your comments and thinking about it. I've put it up for sale. I would have more work than I have time for on something that would get used very little. Thanks! Edit: sold the plow yesterday.

Worth converting a snow plow to fit a BX?

I picked up a 6.5 foot Meyers snowplow. I already have a snowblower for the lil 'bota. Would it be worth fabricating mounts for either my front quick mount or the 3pt? Debating if I would really use it.....

    Berco Soft Cab for BX

I have a soft cab on mine, Original Tractor Cab. It definately helps keep the snow and wind off! Glad I got it. As for the engine cooling fan, I was wondering what to do. So far, I have done nothing as it helps suck any moisture from my breathe away from frosting up the windows. I saw somewhere...

    Folding ROPS

The rope on my bx1800 does not fold. I had no problem getting it into my shelter logic shed that I put up this summer. I installed the cab for the winter with lights on top. Well, the roof alone is taller than the rops and wouldn't fit let alone with the lights. I was ended up raising the shed...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Replaced the drive chain on my Bx snowblower today. It broke as I was finishing up snowbloing on thanksgiving morning. In stock and ready to go at my local dealer. :)

    Chevy or Dodge???

They ALL have issues, non of them are perfect. Pick the one you like and enjoy!! I drive a 97 gmc, my jeep cj has a chevy tbi 5.7 and I also have a corvair. Prior to the gmc, I had an 01 ram with power windows, locks, a/c and a 5sp manual. I loved and miss that truck. My dad never had good luck...

    Bx1850 transmission filter blowing gasket

I work in an auto repair shop that uses napa parts. Just on Friday I had two oil filters that the seals stayed on the car. We've also seen new filters plain ole leak. And, Napa filters are made by Wix. :)

anybody with bx1870 wish they had bigger?

The bx is hyd drive. Depending on how much you push the forward peddle determines how fast you go. Like driving a car, you don't always have your foot to the floor. And you can do slight adjustments with engine speed also. I've never had an issue mowing.

anybody with bx1870 wish they had bigger?

Been very pleased with my 1800. Mows great. Fel is good and VERY handy. Never a problem snowblowing, I did most of the driveways on my street last year. :) 42" rotary mower works effortlessly. With that said, get the biggest you can afford.

    Engine block heater

I was just wondering about this myself. I plan on getting an outlet timer. Set it to turn on the heater an hour or so before I get up. The timer will turn it on, I won't have to get up early or go out to plug it in.

No matter what size tractor you get, you will always want bigger. ;)
