One final thought. Sitting in the seat, at your left heal is an access to a valve that adjusts the hyd flow to the loader and PB. I accidently moved that valved that impacted my loader and PB. You might check it to see if it got moved.

I have a similar 20 year old M6800. I run R4's front and back for bush hogging and other rough conditions. What ever your choice, match front and back with the same type to avoid strain on 4 WD. Good luck.

Had an alternator on my M6800 go bad a couple years ago. Had my local alternator repair shop check it out, he could not rebuild it. He got a new one--cost about the same as Kubota provided parts. Good luck.
