so i have an l4701 and would like the 3pt to go lower about 2'' . i have a king kutter subsoiler and middle buster blade . so my question is how long are the lift arms on an mx5400 eye to longest eye center of hole.

One thing you might consider if it’s like mine was before installing the hydraulic side link. The adjustable lift link when fully extended was longer than the fixed link. If you had an adjustable link on both sides and ran them both all the way out that should put the lift arms lower. Pretty easy to test by running the adjustable link all the way out and see if that gives you the lower position you’re looking for. If it does, get an adjustable link for the other side. The adjustable link will fit on either side. Mine started out on the right side and moved to the left side when I got the hydraulic lift link on the right side.

that could work .
One additional thing you’ve probably already done: If you move the lift link to the hole in the lift arm closest to the tractor that will reduce lift capacity but increase lift travel.
