Hello, I have an L5740 and I've never had the backhoe off. Today, however, I picked up a 7' Roadrunner grader for our driveway. I've never connected anything to the 3pt hitch, so this is new to me. I'll try to attach a photo, however in a nutshell, the implement has huge mounts for the relatively small 3pt sway bars and top bar. Am I missing some sort of bushing or adapter? Or, does the pin not go all the way through? I've searched on line, however every video I've found seems to skip from "this is your 3pt hitch" to "shazam! It's on". Thanks for helping with this likely dumb question. The last photo is just for fun.

Looks like you need cat 1 to cat2 lift arm bushings. Maybe 7/8 or 1" washers to give better fit

Yes you need cat 2 bushings for your tractor. Mine were in the tool box when I bought it.

Bushings are cheap and readily available. With Cat 2 hitch they’re kind of like the spring clip pins, get about a dozen so you’ll always have some on hand.

Thank you all. I wonder if it would be better to get the bushings - or swap out the mounts on the grader to match my hitch. Thanks again.
