Hello,
I am the new owner of a B8200 HST with a belly mower.

I wanted to find out how much the mower deck should lift or the total travel up and down. My deck currently only travels about 1". I looks like the rod that connects the lift bell crank to the 3pt hitch arm was repaired at one time and may be longer than it should be. If the rod was shorter the deck would lift much more but i do not want to lift the deck too high.

Thanks for any help.

Paul, the Operator's Manual says: To set the cutting height, adjust bothe of the front gauge wheels and the rear gauge wheel as shown in the figure below. Cutting height can be adjusted from 1.5" to 4".

D2Cat,

The image you mentioned was not attached.

The problem I am having is when I am driving with the deck in the up position there is no clearance under the deck. So, I wanted to find out how much the deck should raise and lower.

Thanks for the reply.

Check your clearance between the top of the deck and the bottom of the tractor. Couldn't tell you exactly how much clearance you should have. But that would give you an idea of what your working with.

One thought is how are the pins and holes on the linkage and deck? A little wear in each hole can reduce how effectively it raises. Especially if it's causing one end of the pin to hang lower then the other.

If the mower is a RCK60-82H the rod is supposed to be 28 7/8" pin center to pin center.
