First post so,
Hello and good morning
Got a 1980ish B7100 I had purchased from a grandson of the original owner from Maine. Machine used only for snow throwing at the farm. But yet, control valve and hoses missing, although the snow thrower is intact, including V-belt.

So yesterday, I had some time to run around and source some parts and have have some hoses made. First stop was a Kubota dealer down in Ashaway Ri. Got to to talk to mech down there, super nice guy, pleasant and calm. Bought some 3point pins, a jug of juice and a hoodie:)

Mech says,"ooh boy haven't seen one of these in awhile." Yay! I love stuff like that. Kind of gives me the straight and narrow on the set up I'll need, says unfortunately they haven't got any of the 'Cross' valves on the shelf anymore but that I can use a 3way style and hook this to that and blah blah blah.

OK thanks Jack; and I'm off to Genalco for hoses and a 3way. Get home after some time, gettin dark, land I got out my tools. Get everything hooked up but not finalized location or zipped tied etc. Bolt the blower and all that, turn her over and one of the hoses is jumping. Think to myself and try to retrace it all, maybe something is backwards. Switch what I think may be backwards and crank it again ..Jump jump hose and it starts up AND I'm covered in hyd fluid.

My question ultimately is; where can I get the part under body panel same side as air cleaner? Cuz I split the housing hence my hyd fluid shower

Adding a photo of the suspect part would be helpfull to those trying to assist.

Kubota has some great drawings available on their web site you might find helpfull. Parts drawing can also be found at Messicks.com along with pricing and availability.

I got most of the info.

I guess a better question would be;
can I get the just the hyd pump housing (only) and swap guts.
part# 67211-76100.

I am going to pull out what I got, dig the crack out and weld it.
But, welding cast alum sucks to say the least ..

Judging by the parts drawings on Kubota.com, it doesn't look like the housing is available separately. In the event you're not successful in repairing the housing, the assembly is still available.

The pump is used on other models so it might be available at one of the salvage places.

FYI... From Messick's

Kubota: PUMP, HYD ASSY

Part Number: 67211-76100

Messick's Price: $531.54

Stock Quantity: 1

Weight: 3.20 lbs

Days to Order: In stock

Replaces: 66621-36100, 66591-36100

Good luck and please report back on the fix.

You know what you did wrong...right?

You dead headed the pump, don't do it to a new pump or you will have the same exact result.

You worry me when you say three way valve, If it's this style of valve (a three way valve) it will not work!

www.daltonhydraulic.com/high-pressu...8zCN6JAPWD1pjO_JlQ1WdRFLC3ZYSsCRoCf2sQAvD_BwE

What exact valve did you use?

Is it a tandem center valve?

Tandem center valve is the one you want, in a neutral state it will pass fluid onto the three point.

If it's a closed center valve you will dead head it and blow it again no matter how you hook it up.

If it's an open center valve, the cylinder will not "lock" in position.

If it's a floating center valve you will have the same issue as the closed center.

There does not sound like there is a pressure relief valve in it, consider getting a better valve with pressure relief. ;)

P: Is from the pump
T: Is the return back to the system
1 and 2 go to the cylinder.

Yeah, I now no what I did wrong. Thanks for the diagrams ..I had it hooked like a three way but do have the ability for 4way with the same valve. Mistakes often are the only way to solutions. I've got the pump off, am going to make a template on a 1/4" plate so I can bolt the pump to and keep the pattern of the bolts as close to factory as possible. Then give it a go with the TIG welder. Worst case I got to buy another pump, best case ..
