As long as it doesn't weigh more than your 3 point can lift you should be fine. According to tractordata.com the lifting capacity is 400 pounds. Just don't try to dig in too deep. If it's too much take a torch and cut it down. I've got a 6 foot for my L3830.
Thanks for the responses, I figured I could use it for the scooping, but thought I'd check with the experts! I saw the 400 lb capacity on tractordata, too, and thought this really is a big step down from my MF135. It came with a 4' boxblade w/teeth and that's what I'll use for maintaining the driveway and do a little work to help the folks at the stable I'm currently boarding at.
The landscape rake is one of the lightest implements I have. I have a six footer that I use behind my b7100 and it is no problem. It is a very handy attachment. When I am cutting and burning trees and brush I use it to snag limbs and drag them to the burn pile. It will catch two to three inch limbs. Sometimes I run the tiller over an area and then the landscape rake. The six foot width cuts down the high spots and fills in the low better that the box blade. Another use I have found is grading gravel drives. It's a great tool with lots of uses. When I first bought it, I was afraid the tines would break. I have bent a few but never broken any.
That's good to hear you have the same tractor and no problems with the rake. I'm trying to get used to this smaller tractor and my fear I'm going to break something on it!
