You might want to consider applying "Herculiner" to your steel deck.
Herculiner is the same as spray on truck bed liner, and can be applied with roller, or brush.
It can be purchased at Lowe's, (Qt. $36.08) and elsewhere.
It is much more durable than a rubber mat, and absolutely impervious to moisture.
Rubber mats trap moisture beneath.

The rubber mat replacement for my 1989 Ford 1920 was crazy expensive.
I used Herculiner (5 years ago), and it is holding up beautifully.
