Jumpy 3PH

I know this has been discussed before but, has there been any modifications or fixes for the jumpy 3PH on the 2004 L3400 tractors? I am getting so tired of this that I am thinking of opening up the back end and trying to find some way to throttle the oil flow down. The adjustment knob only seems to affect the drop rate. This is not half the tractor my 1991 L2850 is. Seems they just keep making them cheaper all the time. No position control onthe 3400 either. The 2850 has it.

yes you have to use a grand L series position control valve. I do not remember the part number. Hopefully someone with better memory will post it up.
