I would like to add some Bucket Hooks to my BX2370. First I was thinking one hook in the center would be enough, but now I leaning toward two hooks for better load distribution and carrying/chaining options.

I see that BXpand.com has some "clamp on" hooks (Quick-On). Looking at my bucket (top rear lip) there doesn't seem like there is much for anything to clamp on/around.
(1) Do these work? Are they safe - and is there a possibility they might slip off? Also they're expensive.

(2) About welded hooks. Is there anyone selling a weld on Bucket hook made specifically to fit the BX bucket?

(3) Lastly, what size hook would be best (based on lifting capacity of BX) the 5/16" hook or the 3/8"?

Thanks again

I bought the Bxpanded quick on hooks and was disappointed. I would just weld them on and may still do that with more. I say 3 hooks are needed, one centered, and one on each end. I would use 3/8 hooks as they will accept most chains you run into in the field.
