Rain or snow here tomorrow but also, the warmest day of the week in central Ohio, at a balmy 40 degrees.

So I dragged out my exhaust hose so I can run the tractor in the garage with the door down and I put the oil and grease gun in the house to warm up over the next 14 hours.

Plan to take the tractor out, and run it up and down the street a few times to heat up the UDT oil and the crankcase. Then will pull it into the garage and turn on the propane heater. I may throw down some 2X10s to give myself just another inch or so of clearance to make it easier to get under.

Going to drain and refill the rear axle and HST, add a new filter, replace the filters in the gas line and the air cleaner element, Drain the crankcase and refill and replace the crankcase filter and finally lube the fittings.

Should be fun.

Check the HST screen too if it has one.

Sounds like you have a fantastic day planned!

LOL yeah I deserved that. First Tractor and first anything running on diesel.

I did pull the HST screen and it had metal on it. I know it can be cleaned but I had a new on and will use that, as soon as the O-rings come in. It was probably the original, still painted to the body of the transmission. Twenty years is a long time to go without a change or cleaning.

Thanks, Hokie....
