Hello!
First post as I have finalized the deal on a 2002 B7500 (470 hours barn/garage kept) with a FEL, brushhog mower, rototiller and back blade from a close friend.

Looking to do a bill of sale and searching the forum and other sites the serial # should be on the front axle.

Here is where the confusion sets in....
The one number on the axle is "B2410" which is a different model, but everything else for markings are B7500.. My guess is that Kubota used the same parts on multiple models. Is my guess correct?

The other # on the axle looks more like a serial # and that is what we will use for the bill of sale as a B7500.

Wow, doing a bill of sale, need all the details....and you're buying from a close friend?

Why not keep it simple? "I Billy Jones sold Kubota B 7500 tractor with loader, brush hog mower, rototiller, and back blade for $xxxx.xx on ________ for cash to Bobby Smith, paid in full."

Signed by both and dated by both copy for both.

But if you need it all......here's what you need. (If you want engine # you can get it from in behind the injection pump. If you need the tractor identifying numbers you can find them usually on the side of the transmission.)

Guess my personallity is not that anal, but if a close friend was THAT particular about buying something from me, I would refuse to sell it to him!

Yea the front axle will have no serial # or any other number that identifies the tractor.
The serial # is on the frame, or the transmission housing, it will either be stamped in or on a plate, it will never be a cast #.

Thanks. I know how to do a bill of sale and my friendship is not in question.
The question was did the Kubota use the axle on multiple model and serial #.
