Rear wheels are loose on the axles, adjustment nut is as tight as it will go. I have schedule 8 bolt through the hole but they shear every now and then. Rear wheels sometimes sound like they are coming off. Obviously there is wear as this old girl has 1,900+ hours and the original tires. Is there a "fix" for this? Getting ready for garlic planting next week and don't want to break down in the back field.
Any ideas?

The new style hubs are excellent for getting the back end in shape! ;)

Thanks ‘Cat, I remember seeing a new style hub, but couldn’t find a good example/link to help him out....

Gee! as soon as I saw this axle/rim fitting I knew it would work for me. Thanks a million everyone for the help! I ordered 2 and they have been shipped already, arriving possibly early next week. Price was not cheap especially with a low CDN dollar, and I hope the tariff problems are resolved.
Now if the weather would improve I can get my 2019 garlic crop in the ground before freeze-up

Dick, welcome to the forum. It's nice when things can be fixed without a major hassle.

Tell us about your garlic crop. How big an area do you plant? Personal use? My wife has German blood and she thinks garlic is as important as oxygen!!

One thing to note:
Most of these aftermarket hubs will come with standard flat nuts and washers for the lugs, if your original conical nuts (lug nuts) are good use them, if not then go to an auto parts store or online and get the right nuts for them. ;)

Somewhere around here is a thread where someone took a grinder and welder to their original hubs for a similar effect. IIRC, they slit the hubs and welded pipe to either side of the slit for bolts to tighten things up.

Again thanks everyone, these new hubs solved my problem. I spray painted them Kubota orange as soon as they arrived, and installed the next day, using the original stud nuts which almost look like new (with fresh paint on them)!
Total was US $348.60 including $86 shipping, which translates to about $450.00 CDN by the time they got here. Probably the most I have spent on this old girl since the new Hydraulic pump 3 years ago. I have no complaints about this machine she is a work horse for me. My next project will be new industrial tires (after 35 years my turfs are pretty thin)

Yesterday, I planted over 5,000 mature garlic cloves and was even able to remove my coat for a short while. Not bad for mid October on PEI. If the weather stays like this I hope to get about 12,000 more planted before frost, then cover them with leaves and straw for the winter.
Here is a pic of my B7100 in planting mode yesterday. Planting mode_1.jpg
