Hello all,
We recently purchased a house in the sale I got a B3300su. It was my parents house and my dads tractor so I'm fimilar with the service history and the operator. So yesterday I changed all the fluids for a fresh start. After finishing up and checking levels I went out to work in the wood pile. I noticed after shutting the tractor off the boom drops to the ground quickly. When I was under the tractor trying to locate the strainer screen I removed a bolt that had a spring and metal ball behind it. I put things back the way they came out. I'm thinking this might be my issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That was the adjustable relief valve on the loader valve, it should of had numerous flat washers (shims) also. This sets the hydraulic pressure of the system, number of washers present is set to factory specs. I would check your quick disconnect hoses leading to the backhoe. Look at the male connector, making sure it's seated fully. I had problem lifting the FEL, found the male nipple to be bad.
