Hello. I was referred here by a fellow on Tractorbynet. Done a lot of searching on the web for solutions without any luck. Hopefully someone here might be able to provide some info.
Tractor is a B3030 bought new about 2008. No cab or extra bells and whistles. While riding up my lane the Hazard lights suddenly came on. The switch would not shut them off. Pulled the switch harness apart and they stayed on. Pulled the flasher fuse and they stayed on. Finally, pulled the flasher relay harness apart and they stopped.
Now the tractor runs fine but I don’t have; flashers, gas gauge, or headlights. Honestly I don’t care about flashers. Headlight don’t do much and I rarely use them. The gas gauge I would like to have.
Had a mouse gnaw through and bare 2 wires years ago. I repaired these. Checked my repair and looked for any new damage but found none. I’m thinking the flasher relay has went bad, but before spending $80+ for one is there other things to check? Can I test the relay somehow (electric novice here)?
