Hey

Was just flipping thru my B2650 owners guide (pg89) and noticed a section on draining water from the clutch housing:

Draining Clutch Housing Water

The tractor is equipped with a drain plug under the clutch
housing.
After operating in rain, snow or tractor has been washed,
water may get into the clutch housing.
Remove the drain plug and drain the water, then install the
plug again

I live in Atlantic Canada. If I did this every time it rained or snowed I would never see my wife and kids. Just wondering if anyone actually does this. If it is hydro drive does it matter?

Yea being that your model HST doesn't even have a clutch disk, it's not really going to be a huge priority to make sure all the water and moisture is out of there.
Pull the plug out when you do any service work to it. ;)
