Thinking about upgrading to a B, so testing the waters for my BX2380.

It's a '17 model, 79 hours, and yes, pretty much like new. Includes FEL, R4's, Woods RM48 RFM, BXPanded under shield, BXPanded quick-on bucket hooks (2), and Hodge telescopic stabilizers. Garage kept, used for general light tractor work, not as a weekly mower.

It appears, with current incentives, a new ('20) 2380 replacement best deal might be in the $13,500 range for tractor & FEL.

I would like to get $12K for my turn-key set up.

Thoughts?

I think you'll have a rough time selling it at that price considering it's 3 years old, and someone can get a 2020 with all the upgrade options for ~13K and zero % financing, with a full warranty.

Run an add on facebook or your local Craigslist and see if you get any bites.

Thanks NIWM. That's kind of how I approached it... what would a new replacement cost?

I think the best price on a new '20 BX2380 & FEL is going to be around $13,500'ish, with current incentives. I bet most markets will be higher. Best I can tell, the 80 series has not changed any since the '17 intro.

I figure I have ~$800-1000 worth of attachments & options on mine, putting true replacement at $14-14,500'ish, minimum. And since it is "just like new" and still has 3 months of factory warranty, I feel like a $2-3K savings isn't unreasonable. Of course, assuming some one wants exactly what I have.

This is just my first reach, so lots of options still. And I'll just keep it if the numbers don't work. The upgrade is a "want" more than a "need" :D

Appreciate the feed back!

Curious if you checked with future purchasing dealer what the trade-in value is.

Trade on the B2601 was $10K.

A quick look on Tractor House reveals 6 used 2017 BX2380's in eastern US, priced from $12399 to 14900, all have more hours than mine (102-335). (all w/FEL & some kind of MMM or RFM)

I'm asking below market by these stat's.

Kind of. If you showed 5 ads of SOLD tractors at that price you would have something. Showing things for sale doesn't really tell the story.

Do you want to post it or sell it?

For me, the new factory warranty, 0% and all for the financing, (why tie up your own cash?) I would gladly give the delta to Kubota for a new one.

The tough sell without a cash buyer is financing. Used tractor rates are high and short in length.

I think trading it in will help offset taxes if you have to pay those. Im not a farmer, so I do.
