Greetings all! Recently my 1996 2350F has been unhooking the tach drive cable from the back of the instrument. It's happened twice within 10 operating hours. The first time I just screwed the cable back onto the rear of the tach and made sure it was finger tight - not loose at all. Everything worked correctly.

Yesterday, I found that it had come off again (no tach reading when I started the tractor). This time I used a bit of blue thread locker on the tach receptacle threads before I screwed the cable back onto the rear of the tach.

All this happened out of the blue. The tractor's been a rock - always reliable - since I bought it new. I hadn't even been messing around the instrument cluster before all this happened.

I'm curious to know whether anyone else has had this issue and what might be causing it.

TIA
