well I purchased a b 3030 about 3 weeks ago. Before I purchased I called my local Kubota dealer to make sure a Kubota backhoe was available. Of course the owners son said YEP NO PROBLEM....Well after doing the financing paperwork--I get a call saying "Yeah Kubota does not make a backhoe for that model due to the glass cab on it" Now im pretty much screwed...found a woods backhoe at a woods backhoe dealer that will work---but still not Kubota equipment! Anyone ever hear of anything so damn stupid? Unreal and pissed at Kubota already....... Anyone have opinions on a woods backhoe? heard mostly bad but have no choice as of now...

That's been true from day one. On most, if not all cab models the backhoe will not fit do to the seat on the backhoe does not have enough room and hits the cab. In version 3 of the L XX40 series I believe they fixed the problem. I don't know if the current version of the B series have been changed or not.
I can't speak of the Woods backhoe, but I know there are folks out there with them so hopefully they can chime in. This may ease your pain a little bit. If I remember correctly the Woods was a little less expensive than the Kubota.

Here are some other manufactures that may have a backhoe that will fit your B3030HSTC. You would have to contact them directly to see if they have a model for your specific tractor or find a dealer in your area. I would however suggest you get one that uses a sub-frame and a 4 pt hitch setup rather than one that simply hangs off the 3 pt hitch.

Bush Hog
Woods
Erskine
Wallenstein
Rhino

Good luck.

A couple of months ago I bought a new Woods BH75 hoe for my B7510. Nothing but good things to say about it. Strong machine, fit and finish is good. Welds are good. I promptly converted it from mechanical thumb to a hydraulic thumb, which was an awesome mod for short money. Mostly popping rocks and stumps on snowmobile trails here in New Hampshire.

It is alot of hoe for my tractor - probably north of 1000lbs with my 18" bucket, thumb cylinder, and thumb. Because it's cantilevered off the back to allow for its own integrated operator's seat it really lightens the front of the tractor. Dealer added a substantial amount of weight up front to counterbalance, and need to add more.

If you can connect with the other guy in PA that's selling a BH75 and it looks and works as it should, buy it!

Thanks for the input. I ended up purchasing a woods---will take 2 months to custom make the subframe according to the dealer. It is 500 bucks more than a Kubota which kinda sucks--but im in a bind..... Going to look at the other options as I just ordered it 2 days ago---possibly save a few k going with another brand..Thanks Guys. I knew I was not going to lose a lot of money as this machine is as new--but I was still upset after going thru the buying process and all.......

Woods BH typically have higher ratings when matched equally to a Kubota counterpart. The factory cab is the hard part. A friend has a B2920 with Bota' hoe, and his seat just swivels around to run the back hoe. In reality, he'll never have a cab. Me, on the other hand, will have a factory cab next machine because I know a guy with a backhoe!!
